Facing the Great Challenges: 2018 Earthquake & Global Pandemic
🌋 2018: Resilience Amidst the North Lombok Earthquake
Success was building until August 2018, when a series of devastating earthquakes struck North Lombok. For Yasin and the community in Senaru, it was a time of immense loss. However, this was where the “Moment” in our name earned its true meaning: Resilience. Instead of giving up, Yasin led his team to help rebuild the village, proving that our commitment to people always comes before profit.
🛡️ 2020-2022: Maintaining the Spirit During the Pandemic
Just as the trails began to heal, the world fell silent during the COVID-19 pandemic. For nearly three years, the gates of Rinjani were closed. While many disappeared, Yasin used this “quiet time” to sharpen the company’s edges. We invested in advanced first-aid training, upgraded our premium trekking gear, and refined our safety protocols, ensuring that when the world returned, we were stronger than ever.
