Mount Rinjani Hiking 2Days 1Nights Senaru Crater

Pick-up: Upon arrival in Lombok (Lombok Airport, Mataram City, Senggigi, or Bangsal Port), our team will convey you to the hotel we have reserved for you in Senaru using a private vehicle.

Accommodation & Briefing: When you arrive at the hotel, you will be greeted by our trekking guide and then instructed to settle into your room. At the hotel, our guide will explain the standard operating procedures for ascending Mount Rinjani, including waste management, safety procedures, and prohibited items.

Included: This package includes gratuitous transportation (pickup and dropoff) prior to and following the climb of Mount Rinjani.

06:30 AM: Having Breakfast at the hotel.

08:00 AM: Checking in at the Gunung Rinjani office.

Trek Start: Climbing for 1 hour to Post 1 (915 m above sea level) from the main gate of Mount Rinjani National Park. Throughout the treks, you will enjoy the sights and sounds of the tropical rainforests.

Lunch: Having Lunch at Post 2 (1,500 m above the sea level). The climb from post 1 to post 2 takes 2 hours, including breaks. During lunch, you can often see black monkeys hanging on big trees, and hear the sounds of various birds.

Afternoon Trek: Continuing climbing to Post 3 (2,000 m above sea level) at about 1 p.m. or after lunch. The time taken from post 2 to post 3 is 2 hours.

Final Ascent: After resting at post 3, while enjoying biscuits and soft drinks, you continue climbing to Senaru Crater Rim (2,641 m above sea level) for 1 hour.

Campsite: Arriving at Senaru Crater Rim at about 4.30 pm. From here, you will be seeing the beauty of Segara Anak Lake and Mount Baru Jari. At 7 p.m., our guide and porter will provide dinner for you.

Sunrise: Having Breakfast while enjoying the sunrise with beautiful views of Segara Anak Lake and the peak of Mount Rinjani. You can also see the 3 Gilis and Mount Agung in BALI from this vantage point.

Descent Start: Walking down at 8 a.m. to Senaru village. It is normally a 5-hour journey through the dense tropical forest.

Lunch: Having Lunch at Post 2 along the descent route.

Exit & Transfer: Arriving at the main gate of Mount Rinjani, we then drive for 15 minutes to the hotel by car.

Departure: Preparing yourself at the hotel for your next destination (Lombok Airport, Mataram City, Senggigi, or Bangsal Port).
